Welcome to the website dedicated to Erasmus+ projects of Sračinec primary school!
Sračinec Elementary School's mission is to provide quality, modern, creative and interactive teaching focused on the European dimension with the aim of providing knowledge and skills that our students need for life and competitiveness in the labor market in the 21st century.
In order to achieve it, we have defined the key needs of our School and the areas of activities we want to improve, established a Project Team to participate in Erasmus + projects funded by the Agency for Mobility and European Union Programs, and defined a European Development Plan for 2019-2023 , which will help us to implement the vision of school development in the European context.
In 2020, the Sračinec Primary School was approved funds from the European Union's Erasmus + program for the implementation of the KA1 project 'S.T.A.R.T. - Successful Teachers - Achievement Ready Teachers', and the school was accepted as a partner in two more KA2 projects: 'European Wonders of Geography' and 'ICT and Geography at the Service of Meeting Young Europeans'.

By participating in Erasmus + projects, we expect results at several levels.
Establishing cooperation with partners from other European countries and upgrading the curriculum through the introduction of new workshops and extracurricular activities are the benefits we expect at the School level.
For teachers, the benefits of the project will be most evident in the increase of language, pedagogical and ICT competencies, the application of effective and innovative teaching strategies, increased motivation and a sense of professional fulfillment.
For our students, training through the Projects will be reflected in increasing motivation to learn through new teaching methods and stimulating extracurricular activities, acquiring competencies in entrepreneurship, science and ICT, communication and cooperation with students from other European countries and learning about new cultures.
In the long run, we want the integration of the knowledge acquired in this way to be reflected in the successes and achievements of our students in real life, which will make them equal EU citizens. By improving the work of the school, increasing the competencies of teachers and educating successful students, we will achieve our mission and create the basis for the happy school we want to become.
