During October 2021, as part of the KA1 project S.T.A.R.T. - 'Successful Teachers Achievement Ready Teachers' I participated in the Erasmus + project management & educational visit course held in Alicante, Spain.
The course was attended by 13 participants from Austria, Croatia, France, Northern Macedonia, Latvia, Serbia, Italy and Portugal.
The first day of the course started with getting to know the course participants through an interesting ice-breaking activity. At the same time, four different courses were held in Alicante, which proved to be very useful in the activities we carried out all together due to the possible networking and cooperation with colleagues from different European countries.

On the second day of the course, three thematic workshops were held. The topic of the first workshop was "Remembering KA1 E +: SWOT, 2020 European objectives and activities. Step by step how to create a successful proposal", the second workshop was related to KA1 project management called "Managing KA1 E + Project. Roles, tasks and responsibilities to make the final report easier. Mobility Tool ” which proved to be very useful to me as a project coordinator.
The leader of all our workshops was Angel Gallardo Lopez who worked and is still working on Erasmus + projects from various aspects, from coordinating the project at school to working at the Mobility Agency in Spain and as a project evaluator. That is how we got the insider's view and some tips and tricks on Erasmus + projects. The last workshop of the first day was "New 2021-2027 Erasmus + framework: How to write a successful accreditation" which also proved to be very interesting because there were many changes in the Erasmus + program in the new project period. The afternoon was reserved for cultural activities, ie a tour of the city of Alicante with expert guidance and a visit to the castle of Santa Barbara.

The afternoon was reserved for a trip to the island of Tabarca where we had the opportunity to meet the "pirate island" and taste the traditional meal, paella.
The last official date of the course is reserved for networking and arranging potential future collaborations with colleagues and the presentation of possible projects. In the evening, a dinner was organized for all participants of the project where we were served excellent traditional dishes in several sequences, followed by a ceremony of awarding certificates.
On the last unofficial day of the course, some colleagues left Alicante earlier due to various flights, but for those of us who stayed, an excellent Escape room activity was organized on the streets of Alicante, where we became friends, had a lot of fun and got to be emperors of Alicante, at least for a minute.
